We believe our revolutionary technology is the grippiest yoga mat material on the planet today. The innovative design layers natural rubber with our specially designed unique (don't accept cheap imitations!) non-toxic eco-polyurethane to provide the most stable and comfortable practice surface, without the worry of losing balance or slipping, and no towels required. The perfect balance between durability and efficient biodegradability at the end of its life, the Kugofit mat checks all the boxes: comfortable, stable, durable, eco-friendly, conforming to the body, and absolutely grippy.

The value of incorporating instant, intuitive, visual alignment feedback into your yoga practice cannot be overstated. Liforme
is not the first to realize this, but we are the first to perfect a yoga mat alignment system that truly works. Previous attempts using grids, circles, and footprints were limited because there are different body types, styles, and alignment philosophies in yoga. Our goal has always been flexibility. The Alignment Guide works for all body types, all types of yoga, all levels, whether in class or at home. It looks different than any other yoga mat.

Planet Friendly Materials

When kugofit was founded, most yoga mats were made from PVC, a material that was poorly suited for yoga: slippery, easily deteriorating, and low in biodegradability. kugofit set out to create a yoga mat that was biodegradable, PVC-free, wouldn’t harm the planet or your body, and offered the best combination of comfort, stability, and grip. This five-year process required a complete rethinking of existing yoga mat materials, as well as extensive testing and reformulation until we achieved the optimal balance between performance and sustainability.

Specially Engineered Eco-Polyurethane

One of our most technical challenges was finding the balance between excellent durability for Yoga and efficient biodegradability after the end of its use-life. This is why our very thin top layer of our Yoga Mat, is a smooth, cushiony layer, made from a specially engineered Eco-Polyurethane with an open cell structure that is both grippy, absorbent and biodegradable within 1-5 years!

Natural Rubber

All our Yoga Mats have a durable natural rubber base, which provides strong support, stability and cushioning for your practice.

kugofit only uses rubber that is sourced sustainably. We believe that rubber can and should be produced without clearing natural forests. When done responsibly, rubber production increases biodiversity and carbon sequestration, and reduces carbon dioxide emissions from deforestation.
